Testimonials are imperative for the growth of your business.

The number one reason why we want testimonials is that they provide social proof, and show potential customers that other people have bought and liked our services.

But when you forget to collect a testimonial from a client after you work together, it can be awkward to go back months later to ask for one.

If you create a follow-up workflow that is automated in Dubsado, you won’t ever have to worry about that! Read on to steal my testimonial follow-up workflow.

My testimonial workflow is built with these steps:

  1. I change the project status immediately after the workflow has started to “Testimonial”
  2. 30 days after the workflow has started (which translates to 30 days after we have finished working together), I send the Testimonial Feedback Form.
  3. I send a reminder email to fill it out if it hasn’t been completed within 2 weeks.
  4. Once the form has been completed, I change the project status to “Follow Up”. (this is my bucket to touch base with a client in the future)
  5. I then send an email 6 months after that to touch base with the client and see if they need an audit or other work done.

This is what my workflow looks like in Dubsado.

If you would like the email templates I use in this workflow, you can get a copy here:  TESTIMONIAL EMAIL TEMPLATES

These emails are specifically for Dubsado as I have used smart fields in these templates. You can just customize them for the system you are using.

So, with a follow-up workflow like the one I’ve outlined, you’ll never have to worry about that again!

To my heart-centered coaches…Setting up your CRM can sometimes feel incredibly overwhelming.  There are so many moving parts that it can be frustrating to know where to even start.
